1. To set up Lindows OS to connect to the Internet via modem, you'll need the following:

• Local access phone numbers (click here if you need local access numbers)
• Your User Name (ex: someone@695online.com)
• Your password (case sensitive)

2. Plug a working phone line into the "Line" jack of your computers modem.

3. Click on the Launch Menu in the lower left corner of your screen and select Programs -> Internet -> Internet Dial-Up Tool.

4. Click the "Setup" button.

5. Under the "Accounts" tab click the "New" button and click the "Dialog Setup" button. Enter a connection name, and then click on "Add" to enter the access phone number(s) of your ISP. (If you do not know these access numbers, please click here.)

6. Click on the next two "OK" buttons, and then enter your User Name and Password (Case Sensitive). Click the "Connect" button to connect to the Internet.

7. Click on the Web Browser icon.

8. Your on, it's time to surf the World Wide Web!
