Internet Services announces Nationwide Internet Access
Nationwide with Mail-Block© Technology included.
Florida, February 25, 2002. 695online.com opens service
to everyone. In a statement released today, CEO Robert Craddock
announced that 695online.com would start accepting new signup's
from all locations now served by Qwest Communications of Denver.
Points of presence (POP's) as referred to in the telecommunications
industry. There are now close to 3,000 such locations being
offered. Additionally 2,000 more POP's are scheduled to be
on line this year. 695online.com expects to have as good or
better coverage as the well-known Internet Services Providers,
with this new low cost service. 695online and Qwest Communications
have been working on this project now for over 8 months.
Robert Craddock said, we are confident in Qwest's ability
to provide the infrastructure needed for this service and
are committed to the building of a long-term relationship
with the talented team members at Qwest. This is the same
fiber network used by AOL, MSN and now by 695online.com
Bonus features included:
Mail-Block© the new technology for stopping all unsolicited
and junk emails. This technology has been touted as the new
way to send and receive safe secure emails on the Internet,
using a simple yet reliable technology. This feature is now
available and will be provided to all users of the 695online.com
service.
The average user knows how to navigate the Internet. No longer
needed are the child like navigation tools, offered with the
current ISP Services. It is like learning to ride a bicycle
and giving them new and improved training wheels 6.0
The average Internet user wants to loose the training wheels,
move freely through the Internet, at the same time saving
$200.00 or more per year in most cases.
695online.com expects that with the introduction of this
new, affordable service, close to 6 million people in the
first year could be making the switch. It is conceivable to
assume, one point two billion dollars (1,200,000,000) would
go back into the local economies, and this is basically giving
6 million people an additional $200 dollars extra this year,
similar to the great tax rebate in 2001.
Revenues from this alliance with 695online.com could be worth
to Qwest, well over two hundred million ($200,000,000) over
the next 12 months. Qwest Communications International Inc.
(NYSE: Q) is a leader in reliable, scalable and secure broadband
data, voice and image communications for businesses and consumers.
The Qwest Macro Capacity(r) Fiber Network, designed with the
newest optical networking equipment for speed and efficiency,
spans more than 190,000 miles globally.
This is now a sign of the times, Internet Services will no
longer be able to demand that consumers pay 20 to 30 dollars
per month, when the same abilities exists for only $6.95 per
month.
This is a great day for the Internet consumer!
